Before application, steel surfaces must be derusted and degreased. When recoating existing coatings, preliminary test applications are recommended to check adhesion and possible substrate compatibility. The two components must be mixed in the prescribed ratio and processed within the available pot life.

Antistatic & Chemical Resistance

CATEPOX Black Antistatic Coating is designed for surfaces where electrostatic charge dissipation is required, while also providing resistance to water, gasoline and other mineral oil derivatives.

Outdoor Exposure Notice

Under outdoor exposure and sunlight, the black antistatic coating may brown, become matte or chalky. This does not indicate a loss of protective performance. Surfaces exposed to sunlight should be overcoated with a suitable CATEPOX antistatic topcoat in one layer.
